Job Summary
Unload donations, provide receipts, and sort items per guidelines while ensuring a prompt, friendly service for customers and donors. Monitor the back donation room, assist with loading and unloading store deliveries, and deliver presorted items to the processing area. Maintain a neat and clean donation area, interior and exterior, including custodial duties such as cleaning restrooms, break rooms, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Collect found money and donated jewelry daily, adhering to specific documentation and handover procedures. Ensure the store and surrounding premises remain free of safety hazards while following all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Proven reliability in meeting attendance expectations
- Must be able to continuously perform repetitive work, at a set pace
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills
- Must be able to operate and obtain certification for the use of the stacker
- Exhibits a high level of integrity and business ethics
- Exhibits a high level of adaptability and flexibility
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, walking, reaching, stooping, lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling
Desired Qualifications
- High school/ GED preferred
