Job Summary
Accept and process donations from donors at outdoor trailer sites while maintaining clean and orderly collection areas. Track and weigh collected items, then safely load and unload trailers and boxes under varying weather conditions. Provide outstanding customer service to donors and communicate the charity mission to the public. Maintain relationships with the community and manage multiple activities simultaneously. Work mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally shifting to evenings or holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- You are at least 18 years old and ready to join our team
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Capable of bending, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling and climbing stairs and ramps frequently
- Able to accurately keep records and communicate donations progress daily
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle multiple activities at one time
- Possesses the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions
- Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed
- Working environment includes inside of building with semi-controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures
