Job Summary
Maintain and clean the donation trailer and surrounding area at the start and end of each shift. Assist donors with item receipt and provide necessary documentation. Separate and sort donated materials into proper containers, stacking them as instructed. Maintain all reports and paperwork per supervisor direction. Secure and lock the donation trailer at shift close. Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks when needed. Inform the supervisor of low inventory for supplies like brooms, receipts, and carts. Work a flexible schedule covering seven days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
- Ability to move product up to 75lbs
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Work in outside weather conditions
- Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate site coverage
- Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays
