Job Summary
Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift, then separate and sort donated materials into proper containers as instructed. Courteously assist donors with item receipt and provide receipts while ensuring all reports and paperwork are completed accurately. Secure and lock the trailer at shift's end, and help TSA PA/Drivers load donations onto trucks as needed. Notify the supervisor of needed supplies like brooms, receipts, and carts before running out. Dress neatly in accordance with the Salvation Army dress code policy. Flexible availability is required for 7-day coverage across evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure adequate store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and donors
- Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 75lbs. with or without assistance
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
- Must be have flexible availability for scheduling purposes
