Job Summary
Donation Attendant role at Marion Goodwill Industries: provide outstanding customer service at the donation site, ensure donations are processed quickly and accurately, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for donors and shoppers. Responsibilities include greeting donors within 10 seconds, helping unload items and provide tax receipts, ensuring stewardship and daily counts of donations, separating wares from textiles, preparing items for processing, keeping the site clean and safe, tracking donor activity and equipment needs, supporting the transportation team, and processing all donations within 24 hours. Requires-friendly, reliable, team-oriented attitude; ability to read, write, and communicate clearly; basic math and computer skills; ability to lift up to 40 lbs; reliable transportation; and commitment to a drug-free workplace.
