Job Summary
Senior HR Generalist to provide HR partner support across Two Sigma offices, delivering a seamless one-HR experience. Responsibilities include partnering with HR teams to handle inquiries and provide real-time solutions via email, Slack, and phone; managing end-to-end onboarding for new hire cohorts (Workday data entry, background checks, immigration verification, orientation coordination); maintaining data integrity across HRIS platforms; ensuring SLA-driven service delivery; updating process documentation and knowledge base articles; and supporting ad-hoc projects. Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years in HR or customer-facing roles, proficiency with Outlook/Office/Google Workspace, experience with ATS/HRIS (Workday preferred), and strong written/verbal communication with the ability to handle confidential information and work effectively in a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, recruiting, or customer/client-facing roles in multifaceted, fast-paced environments
- High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook (inbox management), Office suite, and Google Workspace
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or human resources information systems (HRIS) preferred, or general experience with help desk technology
- Ability to stay on top of multiple systems feeding information (Slack, case management tools, applicant tracking systems, Workday)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency and grace
- Lateral thinking with incredible attention to detail
- Ability to exercise discretion, work independently, and adapt quickly to new systems
- Strong customer service focus, patience when handling tough cases
- Ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to help others
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record (implied)
