Job Summary

Oversee daily nursing department operations in a skilled nursing facility, supervising RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care and individualized care plan implementation. Maintain compliance with CMS, state health department, and facility policies while leading quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection prevention programs. Manage staffing schedules, recruit and evaluate nursing staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care. Investigate clinical incidents and complaints, implement corrective actions, and ensure proper medical record documentation. Prepare for regulatory surveys and coordinate responses to inspections. Requires current state RN license, 3–5 years of long-term care experience, and 2 years of leadership experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the facility state
  • Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and CMS guidelines
  • Experience with survey preparation and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred
