Job Summary
Coordinate the Domestic Violence High Risk Team (DVHRT) program by facilitating identification and monitoring of high-risk domestic violence cases, convening multidisciplinary partners to develop and implement individualized intervention plans, enhancing victim safety and offender accountability, identifying systemic gaps, and collecting and analyzing data to evaluate outcomes and improve system effectiveness. Serve as the primary liaison among DVHRT members, advocates, and victims; lead critical incident reviews; develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen the domestic violence response; coordinate meetings and training to promote best practices in high-risk case management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in human services or related field
- 5+ years of experience working in the field of domestic violence
- Pre-Employment Additional Requirements: Must successfully pass pre-employment testing which includes an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check
- Possession of a valid Class “R” Colorado Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within two weeks of appointment
- Security clearance required: will require fingerprinting and a Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) background check
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system, domestic violence response, crisis intervention practices, resources and advocacy
