Job Summary
Provide on-call crisis intervention, safety assessment, and referrals to victims of domestic violence and other abuses during non-program hours at Carroll Hospital. Deliver safety education and emotional support to identified victims, then formulate individualized safety plans and connect them with resources. Communicate with medical staff regarding patient disposition and referral outcomes. Requires high school diploma/GED and minimum one year of experience with domestic violence victims, plus familiarity with protection orders. Training or orientation at $17/hour with on-call rates for off-hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience with domestic violence and other abuse victims
- Experience in elder abuse, human trafficking and sexual assault
- Strong crisis intervention and safety planning skills
- Familiarity with protection/restraining orders
