Domestic Violence Advocacy Intern - Fall 2026

Job Summary
Support learning about the dynamics of Domestic Violence, shadow and practice in case management and peer counseling, learn court procedures around domestic violence with SafePlan advocates including protection orders, training on data entry into the database, participate in DV education and trainings, accompany to Task Force Meetings and DV awareness trainings, and use BHN technology offsite as needed. Internship runs for a flexible number of hours for college credit and is unpaid. Potential to gain experience across health, forensic, mental health or addiction services and potentially work within the agency post-placement. Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-4:00pm, on-site in Ware, MA. Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s with a related degree (required)
