Job Summary
Coordinate mailroom, shipping, printing, and space management services while overseeing property/facility, mail, and transportation policies. Engage with staff and contractors to draft policies, facilitate maintenance and repair of USAID offices, and conduct inspections. Ensure timely inbound and outbound mail delivery with the Department of State and U.S. Post Office, and manage Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and parking benefits per Agency policy. Perform intermittent physical activity including lifting objects ranging from 10 to 75 pounds. Requires secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree, six years of relevant experience, and a government driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience with facilities management and property disposition
- Drivers license to drive government vehicles
- Understanding of U.S. government regulations around property/facilities management, mail services and transportation
- Ability to lift and move objects, often ranging from 10 to 50 pounds, with some heavier lifting, potentially up to 75 pounds
- Strong interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and organization skills
- Customer service mindset and ability to problem solve independently
