Job Summary
Domestic Cleaner at Focused Care in Perth, WA. Carry out regular household cleaning tasks (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising), maintain high cleanliness standards in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, assist with laundry, bedding, waste disposal, organisation of cupboards/pantries/refrigerators, and support clients to live independently. Follow infection prevention, manual handling, and workplace health and safety requirements; encourage client participation and adhere to Aged Care, NDIS & DVA Quality Standards. Requires Right to Work in Australia, NDIS checks, driver’s license, vehicle access, vaccination certificates, WWCC, and police clearance; offers flexible hours and career growth in a hybrid Perth location.
Required Qualifications
- Right to Work in Australia – a valid VISA is required to work in Australia and this must be current
- NDIS Screen Check – this document must be cited prior to starting with Focused Care
- NDIS Orientation Module – this module must be completed within 7 days from the start date of employment
- Suitable vehicle – a vehicle that is roadworthy and has comprehensive car insurance should be in place prior to start date
- Driver’s License – a valid Australian Driver’s License (preferred) or International License must be supplied prior to start date
- Full COVID and Flu Vaccinations Certificate – a copy of this document must be supplied prior to start date
- Current CPR Certificate – a copy of this document must be supplied prior to start date
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) – a valid WWCC must be supplied prior to start date or alternatively, it must be cited within 1 week from the start date of employment
- Current Manual Handling – this document must be supplied before start date
- 100 Points of ID – evidence must be supplied prior to start date
- National Police Clearance Certificate – supplied and current (maximum of 6 months old) prior to start date
