Job Summary
Conduct domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks, prepare meals, and provide social support to promote client independence. Travel between clients' homes in a reliable vehicle, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app. Maintain autonomy while adhering to a predetermined schedule across the South West Metro region. Shift patterns include 0800-1500, 0800-1600, and 0900-1500, with a minimum of 3 days availability per week. Requires 3-6 months of cleaning experience, a valid driver's license, and unrestricted vehicle access. Silverchain delivers accredited home care to 140,000 clients annually, offering training programs and a not-for-profit mission to improve the Australian home care system.
Required Qualifications
- 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience
- A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
