Job Summary
Undertake risk assessments and develop safety plans for women and children affected by domestic and family violence. Create case plans with goals, support clients accessing refuge and DV orders, and facilitate referrals for services and home security upgrades. Provide court support and advocacy within individual or group settings. Deliver person-centred interventions aligned with Queensland Government specifications, including intake processes and confidentiality protocols. Requires a C class driver's license and local travel flexibility. Annual salary $92,279 plus superannuation. No visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years' experience within community / human services sector
- Case management experience
- Current C class Driver's license (QLD)
- Flexibility to travel locally within the designated region
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- High level communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow, implement and communicate intake processes and systems clearly to all relevant parties
- Sound understanding of confidentiality practices within Child Protection and Domestic and Family Violence legislation
- Demonstrated ability to work within legal limitations relating to confidentiality and privacy
- Sound knowledge of issues affecting families and individuals experiencing domestic and family violence, child abuse, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harm
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- High level of competency in conducting client assessments for safety and risk
- Sound ICT skills
