Dome Operator - Part Time

Job Summary
As a Dome Operator at Cosm, you will drive immersive technology during high-profile events, delivering outstanding guest experiences while operating multiple display systems, including the Cosm Dome. Ideal candidates have a background in live entertainment environments, strong knowledge of AV technologies, and excellent communication skills. You will ensure systems readiness, conduct maintenance, and provide expert support during events. A Bachelor's degree in related fields and at least 3 years of relevant experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating a live entertainment environment for at least 3 years.
- Experience in Audio, Lighting, Broadcast, IT, and/or streaming IP video workflows.
- Familiarity with audio/visual signal flows and diagrams, and AV automation systems.
- Familiarity with Windows, OBS, Blackmagic, QSYS, DMX lighting, IPTVs, Unreal, Osprey encoders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Passion for hospitality, entertainment, and cool technology required.
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organized.
- Strong leadership skills, an ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be able to work during live events, with high noise levels, and busy environments.
- Must be able to work during late nights and weekends.

Desired Qualifications
- Any additional relevant diploma or certification, or industry experience with large venue AV technology is a plus.
