Job Summary
Domain Quality Lead (QE Manager) responsible for managing testing requirements for Factory Quality and Certification, identifying required QE resources, creating the overall Test plan, and driving test automation strategy. Will oversee QE resources, coach team members, ensure quality gates (Definition of Ready/Done) are met, maintain Jira hygiene, and provide status updates. Will facilitate QE ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective) and collaborate with domain owners, PO, TLs, and data/domain owners to support domain OKRs. Requires hands-on experience with QE automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, TestNG), Java or Python, SQL, CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, Spinnaker, Jenkins), Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP, and strong problem-solving and data skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience in QE automation frameworks for front-end and back-end apps (e.g., Cucumber, Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG)
- Experience in Java or Python, SQL, and scripting
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, Jenkins, Spinnaker)
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot DB issues
- Ability to build and support automation test strategies
- Knowledge of QA automation architecture, methodologies, and tools
- Experience creating multiple test frameworks from scratch
- Understanding of REST and RESTful services
- Proficiency in SQL on MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Snowflake
