Job Summary

Define and execute enterprise cloud strategy across Azure and AWS platforms, developing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies including workload placement and legacy system retirement. Lead cloud migration and modernization programs while driving adoption of cloud-native architectures and AI-ready technology platforms. Establish AI governance frameworks addressing model risk management, explainability, and compliance, and lead Enterprise Architecture Assessments for cloud and AI-enabled initiatives. Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for security, privacy, and data governance while guiding architects and engineering teams through complex technical decisions. Manage architecture risks, technical debt, and FinOps practices to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience with IT leadership, enterprise architecture, or solution architecture experience
  • 15+ years of experience leading enterprise cloud transformation initiatives and modernization programs
  • 15+ years of experience developing and executing cloud migration roadmaps across Azure and AWS environments
  • 15+ years of experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or similar methodologies
  • 15+ years of experience designing cloud-native, microservices-based, event-driven, and distributed architectures
  • 15+ years of experience with Enterprise architecture governance, standards, patterns, and technology roadmaps
  • 15+ years of experience working across infrastructure, networking, security, data, integration, and application domains
  • 15+ years of experience leading complex technology decisions and architectural tradeoff discussions
  • 15+ years of experience with Executive-level communication, presentations, and stakeholder engagement
  • 15+ years of experience developing architecture diagrams, models, and documentation using Visio, draw.io, or similar tools
  • 15+ years of experience with Risk management, technical debt remediation, and governance processes
  • 15+ years of experience leading large-scale modernization efforts involving legacy systems and cloud adoption
  • 15+ years of experience collaborating with business executives, architecture teams, engineering organizations, and technology leaders
  • 15+ years of experience establishing scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise technology solutions
  • 8+ years of experience in Architecture leadership roles with responsibility for enterprise-wide technology direction
  • 8+ years of experience with Cloud strategy development and implementation
  • 8+ years of experience with Multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architecture design and governance
  • 8+ years of experience leading cloud migration programs including rehost, replatform, refactor, and rebuild strategies
  • 8+ years of experience with Architecture review boards, governance processes, and solution assessments
  • 8+ years of experience with FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies
  • 8+ years of experience managing enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and technology policies
  • 8+ years of experience driving consensus across multiple organizational and technology teams
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate
  • TOGAF Certification
  • FinOps Practitioner Certification
  • Experience implementing AI governance frameworks within regulated environments
  • Experience with cloud landing zones and cloud operating models
  • Exposure to Agentic AI, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector database technologies
  • Experience establishing enterprise architecture governance programs
  • Experience supporting executive architecture review boards
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Experience leading enterprise modernization initiatives across complex technology environments
  • Hands-on knowledge of AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks
  • Experience evaluating and implementing emerging AI technologies and enterprise cloud services
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, privacy, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Proven success driving enterprise-wide cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives
