Job Summary
Submit a workflow proposal detailing a specific process from your current or previous role that could be automated or accelerated with AI. Describe the workflow, the bottlenecks causing delays, the ideal outcome, and metrics to measure success. This submission must be sent to james@build.inc alongside your application. The role targets domain experts in data centre development, planning, real estate analysis, infrastructure advising, or design who have deep industry experience and frustration with slow, expensive processes. If your proposal is compelling, we will reach out to discuss how you can work alongside our AI systems to deliver outcomes for clients while helping build self-running infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in a specific part of the Built World
- Years of experience inside the industry
- Experience as a data centre developer navigating grid connection queues
- Experience as a planning consultant knowing where applications get stuck
- Experience as a real estate analyst screening acquisitions across multiple markets
- Experience as an infrastructure advisor running due diligence processes
- Experience as a design professional translating briefs into buildable massing
- Expertise in digital infrastructure, industrial, energy, or institutional real estate
- Ability to describe a workflow from a current or previous role that could be automated or dramatically accelerated with AI
- Ability to explain why a workflow takes as long as it does
- Ability to define what a good outcome looks like for an automated workflow
- Ability to explain how to know if an automation was working
