Job Summary
Solution Engineer for Next-Gen Trust Security (NGTS) leads PoV engagements and technical validations, designs unified cryptographic governance within Strata Cloud Manager to align certificate operations with network enforcement, evangelizes the CLM/PKI integration with CyberArk, and collaborates cross-functionally to identify critical projects and remove obstacles. The role involves educating CISOs and VP-level stakeholders on risks associated with long certificate lifecycles and the path to Post-Quantum Cryptography, sharing customer usage patterns to inform product improvements, conducting deep-dive discovery to uncover unmanaged certificates, and driving account-based pursuit strategies with Solutions Consultants, Account Managers, and the CyberArk MIM Specialist team. Requires 5+ years in cybersecurity software, PKI/CLM expertise, cloud connectors, DevOps tooling, strong communication, German language proficiency, and CISSP-type certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Sales Engineering or Consulting experience in cybersecurity software
- Deep Domain Expertise in Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM), PKI architecture (ZTPKI, Microsoft ADCS), and SSL/TLS protocols
- Experience with automated provisioning (ACME, SCEP), Cloud-native connectors (Azure, GCP, AWS), and security appliances
- DevOps tools (Terraform, Git, Kubernetes, Ansible) and Docker
- Strong understanding of NGFW, SASE, and GlobalProtect
- Ability to translate complex cryptographic concepts to business value; bilingual German required
- CISSP or equivalent information security certifications are preferred
- Foundational PKI/CLM knowledge; cryptography fundamentals; TLS/SSL handshakes; PQC familiarity
