Job Summary
Domain Architect - SMART defines and maintains target architecture across metering services, financial metering, and meter asset management, aligning to enterprise guardrails and strategic platforms while balancing regulatory and operational needs. Shapes decisions around customer, regulatory, commercial, and operational outcomes (e.g., settlement accuracy, installation efficiency, asset reliability, cost to serve). Leads stewardship of shared metering platforms, drives reuse, and evolves reference architectures for the end-to-end metering lifecycle. Ensures architecture compliance with guardrails and industry requirements; collaborates with delivery squads, field ops tech teams, and programme teams. Emphasizes whole-system design, integration, data quality, security, resilience, and AI-assisted productivity tools; mentors architects and engineers and contributes to knowledge sharing. Requires experience delivering solution and domain architectures, strong business-technology alignment, and excellent communication demonstrated across technical and non-technical audiences.
