Job Summary
DHRC Outreach Coordinator serves as a key public-facing representative of the Dolores Huerta Resource Center, coordinating outreach activities, tabling events, and partnerships to increase visibility and engagement. Responsibilities include managing outreach calendar, coordinating logistics, building relationships with schools, nonprofits, government agencies, and community partners, conducting culturally responsive outreach to multilingual communities, supporting referrals and warm handoffs, assisting with social media content and reporting, and collaborating with the City of North Las Vegas and TJOP Marketing. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage multiple events, data tracking and reporting, travel across North Las Vegas and Southern Nevada, and a valid Nevada driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday (~40 hours/week), evenings/weekends as needed; Non-Exempt; travel required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in community outreach, public engagement, nonprofit services, event coordination, or a related field.
- Valid Nevada driver's license with a clean driving record; reliable personal transportation required.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required given the demographics of the community served.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and basic reporting and data tracking systems.
