Job Summary
Oversee dog pack in social play environment, act as functional pack leader, observe behavior and manage safety for all dogs, create play groups based on personalities and play styles, set up/close yard per policies (sanitize, clean, scoop, break down pools), actively encourage beneficial interactions and monitor activity, clean/sanitize items, support ESOP-driven team collaboration, greet clients/coworkers professionally, report low-supply items, follow safe camp procedures, daily/shift responsibilities, and demonstrate ability to multitask in a fast-paced pet-care setting. Knowledge of dog handling, customer service, and ability to lift 40 pounds, with availability to work day, evening, weekends and holidays. Compensation range is $11.00–$14.00 per hour with benefits; 401(k) matching; dental, health, and vision insurance; paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year dog handling experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Must be able to be on feet for full shift
- Must be able to stand, walk frequently
- Must be able to bend, stoop and squat
- Must be able to follow specific instructions
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to work on computer system and complete written reports
- Must be able to handle dogs of all sizes on leashes
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with time deadlines for completion
- Must be able to perform all tasks unsupervised as well as with team members
- Must be comfortable with animals and pet dander, etc.
