Job Summary
Provide dog training services (board and train, private and group, and specialty trainings as available) at Best Friends Pet Care. Promote services through center events and veterinary outreach, sell/recommend training-related retail items, adhere to training program outlines, maintain class schedules, and ensure accurate entries in the computer system. Maintain clean training areas, handle dogs safely, respond promptly to customer inquiries, and collaborate with the Canine Interactive services Manager to grow center business. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication, love of animals, and professional demeanor, while upholding company policies and completing Safe Handling training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional dog training experience
- Appropriate education in dog training via schooling or internship with Professional dog trainer.
