Job Summary
Conduct in-home pet sitting visits and dog walks while clients are away, including feeding, waste cleanup, playtime, and administering medication within your comfort level. Send visit updates and photos through our app, follow detailed client care instructions, and handle tasks like bringing in mail or adjusting home settings. Perform scheduled walks, drop-ins, extended daytime stays, or overnight live-in care based on client needs. This flexible, part-time independent contractor role matches you with clients in the Raleigh-Durham area; availability for weekends and holidays is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced with dog or cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity
- Confidently handle dogs from small to large
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids)
- Holiday & weekend availability
