Job Summary
Conduct in-home pet sitting visits and dog walks while clients travel, including feeding pets, cleaning waste, administering medication, and delivering mail or packages. Provide companionship and affection tailored to each animal's personality, then send visit updates and photos through the company app. Adjust lighting, blinds, or trash as requested by clients. This flexible, part-time independent contractor role allows you to set your availability and service area, with weekend and holiday coverage especially valuable. You will handle dogs of all sizes and must possess strong written communication skills and a smartphone with reliable internet. Rates start around $25 per 30-minute visit, with bonuses for holidays and strong feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced with dog or cat care, especially in a pet sitting capacity
- Confidently handle dogs from small to large
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Strong written communication
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes
- Smartphone with reliable internet & camera
- Medication experience (oral, injections, fluids)
- Holiday & weekend availability
