Job Summary
Independent dog sitter/dog walker in the Washington, DC area. Provide in-home care and walks (30-90 minutes), drop-ins, overnights, and live-in house sitting based on availability and service area. Follow detailed care instructions (feeding, water, meds as needed), leash dogs safely with situational awareness, send updates with notes and photos after each visit, maintain client-home cleanliness, and work with flexible scheduling. Typical visits include morning, afternoon, evening windows; services include walks, drop-ins, extended daytime visits, overnights, and 24-hour care. Requires 18+ with hands-on dog care experience, strong written communication, reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently in clients’ homes; preferred medication experience.
