Job Summary
Experienced dog groomer sought to deliver high-quality breed-appropriate grooms in a pet resort environment. Responsibilities include full grooms, baths, and touch-ups; evaluating coat condition and temperament; maintaining safety standards; clear communication with pet parents; providing post-groom updates; rebooking and maintaining a client base; and maintaining a sanitized grooming space. Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for long periods, and working weekends. Strong written and verbal communication, detail-orientation, reliability, and teamwork are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years professional grooming experience preferred
- Grooming certification preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of breed standards and scissoring techniques
- Commitment to humane handling practices
