Job Summary
Groom dogs to Scenthound standards while providing guidance and mentorship to the bathing teams; perform sanitary and puppy cuts (one length all over with a neat face); create an environment conducive to learning, open communication, and teamwork; identify when/where help is needed to keep Scenter on schedule; ensure the safety of dogs and team; adhere to sanitary/cleaning practices; perform additional duties as assigned by the Scenter Manager or Lead Groomer.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of grooming experience or graduating from a grooming school
- Knowledge of dog breeds, care, standards, and tools of the trade
- Strength to lift up to 70 lbs; stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Reliable transportation
- Weekend availability
