Job Summary
Provide full grooming services including bathing, drying, nail clipping, and breed-specific styling for a variety of dogs. Coordinate salon operations with the Store Manager, manage client bookings, and oversee stock levels while maintaining high presentation standards. Support the team by assisting with shop floor duties, local marketing, and recruitment referrals to exceed sales targets. Maintain a strong safety mindset and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in professional dog grooming
- Ability to create and embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store
- Good knowledge of specific breed clips
- Commitment to maintaining grooming styles and brand/product knowledge
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy animals as required
- Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals
- Maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
- Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail
