Job Summary
Perform full grooms, baths, and touch-ups to professional standards while assessing coat condition and pet temperament before starting services. Monitor pets closely for signs of stress, injury, or health concerns, ensuring they receive water and potty breaks during longer appointments. Maintain a sanitized grooming space by sweeping hair promptly and disinfecting drying rooms daily, while properly labeling all pets in your care. Conduct thorough meet-and-greets to clarify expectations and explain coat condition, obtaining approval for additional services and providing post-groom updates. Rebook clients professionally and respond promptly to inquiries, all while adhering to strict safety protocols for senior, anxious, or medically sensitive animals. Work Monday through Friday with weekend availability required, lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years professional grooming experience
- Grooming certification
- Strong knowledge of breed standards and scissoring techniques
- Commitment to humane handling practices
- Comfortable working in a team-based resort environment
- Lift up to 60 lbs

- Work weekends
