Job Summary
Provide compassionate dog grooming services including haircuts, baths, nail trims, and teeth brushing; follow breed standards and Pet Parent instructions; discuss grooming needs with clients, set expectations, and recommend styles, maintenance, and products; ensure safety and proper handling, assist other groomers and bathers, and maintain accurate records in Dogtopia Hub while contributing to a positive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Grooming certificate preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of professional grooming experience or graduate of a grooming school with minimum 1 year experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with breed standard haircuts
- Experience using grooming tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
