Job Summary

Coordinate school-wide screenings with community partners, manage health and wellness promotion, and oversee data collection and disease surveillance. Facilitate virtual or in-person visits with a Hawaii Keiki Nurse Practitioner and cover school health rooms per Hawaii State Department of Education protocol. Perform data entry, deliver health education as requested, and measure vital signs while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Work 32.5 hours weekly from 7:30am to 2:30pm, Mon-Fri, with paid leave during spring, fall, and winter breaks. No summer scheduling.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification in a health related field or equivalent job related work experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or current BLS Certification
  • Experience working in a clinical setting
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Familiarity with Patient Confidentiality laws (HIPAA)
  • Vital sign measurement
