Job Summary
Coordinate project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery for modeling and simulation software R&D and implementation projects. Manage project scope, schedules, costs, and priorities using agile and hybrid methodologies while translating customer requirements into actionable implementation plans. Assist with milestone reviews, status reporting, and risk mitigation strategies across cross-functional engineering and program teams. Track project and labor budgets, develop subcontractor Statements of Work, and document product requirements including use cases and user stories. Participate in customer meetings, demonstrations, and retrospectives to ensure deliverables align with contract requirements and business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
- Must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience planning, coordinating, managing, or executing projects
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
- Experience communicating with customers, stakeholders, or cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile
- Understanding of project management knowledge areas such as Scope Management and Stakeholder Management
- Experience with tools such as Jira or GitLab
- Experience identifying, assessing, or mitigating project risks
- Active or current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
Desired Qualifications
- Domain experience or familiarity with Aerospace & Defense
- Familiarity with U.S. space-domain acquisition and operations
- Background or familiarity with software solutions in Aerospace & Defense
- PMP or another project management certification
- Experience working in small businesses or startups
- Experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager supporting software development
- Knowledge of federal acquisition processes, including DoD/DoW, NRO, or NASA
