Job Summary
Lead on-site construction activities, capturing photo documentation for each phase and maintaining a constant presence in the work area unless relieved by an interim Foreman. Coordinate material procurement and inventory delivered equipment, while scheduling inspections and managing subcontractor activities. Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce compliance requirements, and promptly report accidents to the Project Manager. Manage job schedules to address daily issues, ensure projects stay within allocated labor hours, and submit daily logs. Provide installation instructions, complete warranty documents, and furnish detailed as-built drawings. Requires 3-5 years of commercial petroleum construction experience, relevant ICC certifications, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to drive up to 1000 miles weekly and navigate various job site terrains.
Required Qualifications
- Current Active Duty Servicemember
- Separating from the Military in 4-12 months
- Able to complete a minimum of 8 weeks and up to a maximum of 6 months SkillBridge apprenticeship
- Able to work 40 hours per week
- Mechanically minded
- Background check
- MVR
- Physical/drug screening
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial petroleum construction installation/supervision
- ICC UST Install/Retrofit certification
- ICC UST Removal certification
- ICC Service Technician certification
- Veeder Root certification
- Strong judgment and adaptability to changing field conditions and requirements
- 24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate
- current 8-hour refresher course
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word)
- Clear and professional communication skills with clients and team members
- Ability to drive to job sites, occasionally covering extensive distances, up to 1000 miles per week
- Occasional out-of-town work required
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining good housekeeping practices
- Proficient in reading and interpreting design plans
- Capability to drive/haul a trailer to and from job sites
- Proficient in reading and interpreting machine diagnostic reports
- Physical capability for climbing ladders and stairs, kneeling, squatting, bending, stooping, and twisting at the waist and neck
