Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive on-site visual assessments of Real Property Installed Equipment, evaluating all systems and components to determine operating efficiency, capacity, and remaining life expectancy. Translate field-collected data into actionable work packages for CMMS Facilities Management and generate inventory condition reports for newly added facilities. Input, validate, and maintain facility condition assessment data using proprietary software tools via computers, iPads, or tablets. Travel to remote CONUS and OCONUS sites up to 50% monthly to perform condition assessments and gather detailed data, adhering to OSHA standards and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
- High school diploma required
- Certifications in construction technologies, such as NCCER, NICET, HVAC, Carpentry, OSHA 10-Hour or BPI
- Minimum of one year of technical experience conducting assessments and analyses of systems and components associated with facilities and structures within real property assets
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to access confined spaces
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Visual acuity
- Manual dexterity
- Strict adherence to OSHA standards, safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Travel to different sites
- Flexibility in work hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
- Ability to work remotely (if applicable) with a suitable home workspace
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating comprehensive reports with actionable, engineering-based recommendations preferred
