Job Summary

Service imaging equipment at customer sites within the Houston, TX Region, performing troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and modifications on MRI and CT scanners. Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance while managing financial performance through budget adherence, expense control, and inventory management. Maintain company assets including a vehicle, tools, and parts, and establish business relationships with hospital staff and peers. Work independently or in teams using diagnostic tools and test equipment, adhering to safety protocols and export control regulations. Requires valid driver's license, ability to travel, and participation in an on-call rotation after training.

Required Qualifications

  • Active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
  • Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ Years of field service experience
  • Must be proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment
  • Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to drive independently day and night
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50lbs (floor to above waist/head)
  • Ability to walk
  • Ability to climb ladder/stepstool
  • Ability to bend
  • Ability to twist
  • Ability to sit
  • Ability to squat
  • Ability to stand
  • Ability to reach high
  • Ability to perform fine grasping manipulation

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision
  • Ability to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers
  • Ability to perform necessary administrative duties accurately
  • Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment
  • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
