Job Summary
Conduct an immersive 8-week training and mentoring program designed to prepare transitioning veterans for Project Management certifications, including CAPM, PMP, and PMI-ACP. Deliver instruction on curriculum covering Resume Writing, LinkedIn Optimization, Interview Skills, and veteran-friendly job search resources while teaching Scrum Master framework concepts. Facilitate mentorship sessions for participants residing in the Fort Bliss, Texas area, ensuring they earn required contact hours to sit for certification exams. This direct veteran-to-veteran workshop utilizes VA Education Benefits and is taught exclusively by veterans and their families.
Required Qualifications
- Active-duty transitioning military member who is an E4 or above
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Must live in or around the Fort Bliss, Texas area
- Must be able to receive command approval to attend
- Use of VA Education Benefits
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Vets2PM Project Management Fundamentals Certificate
