Job Summary
Conduct an immersive 8-week training and mentoring program to prepare transitioning veterans for CAPM, PMP, and PMI-ACP certification exams. Deliver instruction on Project Management frameworks while providing mentorship on resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview skills. Facilitate access to veteran-friendly career fairs and job boards to support civilian job searches. Requires active-duty transitioning military members (E4 or above) living in the Fort Bliss, Texas area to receive command approval. Use VA Education Benefits to cover costs.
Required Qualifications
- Active-duty transitioning military member who is an E4 or above
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- Must live in or around the Fort Bliss, Texas area
- Must be able to receive command approval to attend
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree
- Knowledge of project management fundamentals
- Vets2PM Project Management Fundamentals Certificate
- Functional laptop or portable device able to run specifications required for exam simulators and classroom mediums
