Job Summary
Research, design, develop, and modify enterprise-wide systems and application software using Java, .NET, C#, and JavaScript technologies. Manage rich client and web application development within current MVC frameworks while maintaining SQL database integrity across MySQL and SQL-Server environments. Execute software configuration management functions and utilize tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, and GIT for build, release, and source control processes. Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to ensure robust code quality while collaborating effectively with teams and customers. Requires DoD clearance, IAT Level 2 or 3 certification, and a bachelor's degree in an IT field.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen in good Standing with an Active Dod Clearance or the ability to get one
- Software Developer with Java rich client and web application development experience
- strong core Java knowledge
- knowledge of full stack .NET web development
- Experience using Java/Java-script technologies (SWT, SWING, RCP, JSP, EJB)
- Experience with full stack .NET web development (SQL database; C# backend; JavaScript [jQuery]; HTML/CSS)
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Principles and concepts, and design patterns and their applications
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL/T-SQL, SQL-Server, SQL development and TOAD)
- Working knowledge of both rich client and web application development using current MVC frameworks
- Experience with software configuration management processes and performing Software CM functions on a major project/program
- Working knowledge of PC-based software tools for project tracking and collaboration tools, integration, build, and release of software, software configuration management and source control tools (ex. Azure DevOps, JIRA, GIT/SVN)
- Experience using Java development tools (ex. Maven, Eclipse, etc.)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- ability to work directly with customers
- Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited University in an IT related field
- three-five (3-5) years of experience in software development/engineering
- DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE) or IAT Level 3 Certification (CASP or CISSP)
