Job Summary

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Command and Control (C2C) network architectures and Zero Trust security frameworks, leading the design, implementation, and enforcement of secure, resilient network communications across enterprise and mission-critical environments. Manage Cisco ISE infrastructure by configuring multiple policy sets for wired, wireless, and VPN connectivity, administering dACLs, profiling, NADs, and posture conditions while supporting Radius, TACACS, and 802.1x. Execute hands-on network implementation for Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, ACI, VMware NSX, and QoS, alongside strategic planning to assess infrastructure needs and propose innovative solutions. Perform Tier-3 network troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software, utilizing analytics features and integrating with Splunk, ConfigManager, and Intune.

Required Qualifications

  • DOD active or interim secret
  • Recent experience with CISCO ISE
  • C2C: (CWF Code (451) - System Administrator \ Advanced)
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Command and Control (C2C) network architectures and Zero Trust security frameworks
  • Managing Cisco ISE infrastructure in a DoD environment
  • Experience with pxGrid, Trustsec (SGTs), integration with other network infrastructure (FW, switches, routers, etc), integration with Splunk, ConfigManager (SCCM) and intune
  • Experience utilizing Cisco ISE analytics features
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, ACI, VMware NSX, QoS, MPLS VPN, and wireless communications (WiFi/WAP)
  • Proficient in configuring and managing firewalls, VPNs, IPS, and other security devices
  • Deep understanding of traditional L2/L3 network systems and protocols (e.g., VLANs, ACLs, trunking, routing, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Radius, TACACS)
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking, including AWS (DirectConnect, VPC, TGW, VGW, DGW), Azure (ExpressRoutes, VPN, Resource Groups, VNet+GW), and/or Google Cloud (Interconnect, VPC, Cloud Router)
  • Experience in network records management, configuration documentation, and analysis of network data using monitoring tools
  • Capability to assess current and future network infrastructure needs and propose innovative solutions
  • Skilled in testing, implementing, integrating, and managing network hardware and software
  • Expertise in Tier-3 (and above) network troubleshooting and technical refresh efforts
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university
