Documentation Delivery Configuration and Data Management Lead

Job Summary

Lead Configuration and Data Management (CDM) initiatives by creating policies, maintaining product baselines, and ensuring auditability across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations. Advocate for CDM processes, establish work methodologies, and coordinate changes among cross-functional teams while participating in strategic and tactical project planning. Provide leadership in root cause analysis, proposal efforts, and audit functions, including planning, execution, and reporting. Monitor costs, budgets, and manpower requirements to deliver cost-efficient methods for project completion. Create training on CDM processes and develop metrics to support project data. Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within advanced electronics systems development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience)
  • Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Subject matter expert (SME) in Configuration Data Management
  • Proficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standards
  • Strong grasp of industry Configuration Management practices and engineering principles
  • Understanding of engineering drawing practices and standards
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and process design
  • Strong leadership skills, including mentoring and training
  • Advanced decision-making and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Effective interaction with senior internal and external personnel
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Product Data Management applications
  • Work performed under general direction with initiative and independent judgment
  • Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
