Job Summary
The Documentation Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating and maintaining product documentation within the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry. This role requires strong cross-functional communication skills, a detailed understanding of document control processes, and the ability to manage product data for compliance with industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in bill of materials (BOM) management
- Experience in document control and creation of manufacturing assembly drawings
- Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes
- Solid understanding of circuit board design and the ability to read component values
- Five years of experience in a documentation or product data role within a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred)
- Familiar with CAD file management and assembly drawing software, including AutoCAD, GC Prevue, and similar tools
- Experience working with data integration software (Aegis Factory Logix preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
