Job Summary
Document Specialist at Tidal Basin focusing on disaster-recovery program closeouts. Responsible for building disaster closeout folders with reports, invoices, proofs of payment, and associated documentation; data entry and uploading documents into systems of record; managing files in accordance with program requirements; collecting and reviewing applicant information for closeout requirements; handling electronic and hard copy correspondence and forms; responding to phone, Teams messages, and emails about program requirements and closeout status; ensuring health and safety guidelines; attending required trainings and meetings; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires excellent written and verbal communication, ability to draft professional correspondence, strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), and willingness to complete background checks. Location is Pikeville, KY with standard Monday–Friday hours; Equal Employment Opportunity employer statements included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social services or related field
- 2 years of work experience in administrative support, disaster recovery, housing support services or programs, social services, or disaster case management (preferred)
