Job Summary
Oversee the Document Services Center (DSC) and Columbus Reception operations, supervising staff across all offices and leading hiring, onboarding, performance discussions, and workload balancing. Use Freshservice data to optimize processes, coordinate projects, and implement DSC/reception changes to meet operational objectives while maximizing resources. Develop the departmental plan with procedures, goals, and productivity-enhancing guidelines. Drive workflow efficiency, staff training, and cross-office support, including overflow work and large projects. Lead initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and customer service, including the integration of Generative AI and state-of-the-art training. Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; manage performance, motivate teams, and ensure quality and timely output. Proficiency in MS Word (advanced formatting), MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, PDF tools (including Bates labeling, redaction, and form fields), eFiling, and familiarity with legal support applications (Viewpoint, Summation, Magnum or similar platforms) and Generative AI tools. Emphasize process improvement, attention to detail, and collaboration to deliver excellent customer service and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5 - 7 years of experience in similar field
- Legal office or word processing department experience required
