Job Summary
Document Processor to join the Post Closing team responsible for scanning, sorting, auditing, and shipping mortgage-related documents; responsibilities include logging, auditing loan files for completeness and accuracy, delivering loans to investors by deadlines, daily reconciliation of investor reports, clearing deficiencies within the investor lock period, maintaining a daily log of outgoing suspense conditions from Investor, updating notes in the Loan Origination System, reviewing and obtaining purchase advice for the accounting department, and coordinating with team members, business partners, and clients via phone and email. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, attention to detail, proactive organization, and excellent verbal and written communication, with an in-office schedule in Fairfax, VA. The position is entry-level, full-time, with standard 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM hours Monday through Friday and potential overtime as needed.
