Job Summary
Prepare, print, sort, scan, and maintain electronic and hard copies of charts, medical report forms, and company documents. Gather and organize examinee charts for examinations and deposition purposes, ensuring all records are included and consolidated in proper order. Ship records to physicians via USPS, UPS, or electronic methods within required timeframes. Perform clerical duties including typing, filing, emailing, and proofreading while promoting effective utilization of company supplies. Protect examinee rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year related experience
- Equivalent combination of training and experience
- Knowledge of general computer, fax, copier, scanner, and telephone
- Knowledge of multiple software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet
- Full understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management's directions accurately
- Accuracy and thoroughness
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize work activities and use time efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment
