Job Summary
Document Controller role based in Exeter for Cardo Group; manage and oversee all documentation processes (filing, tracking, maintenance) in line with PAS/MCS requirements, maintain documentation portals/templates, produce monthly status/reports, liaise with insurers/guarantees and scheme providers, create site folders/packs, audit project folders, and provide administrative support to Retrofit Team. Key duties include project filing, drawing updates, technical coordination for planned projects, portal uploads, and ensuring compliance documentation for inspections and audits. Requires organisational excellence, project-office experience (preferred), ability to work independently and in a team, strong verbal/written communication, and proficiency with MS Excel/Word.
Required Qualifications
- Construction or social housing background (preferred but not essential) ideally in retrofit, construction, or engineering projects
- Excellent organisational skill
- Experience in working in a Project Office environment (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work under your own initiative and under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- IT Skills – MS Excel and Word and Document Control
- Ability to work closely with outside agencies/ clients/ contractors & Consultants.
