Job Summary
Document Controller at AECOM responsible for coordinating project records and ensuring proper document management. Responsibilities include working with project managers and IT/Records Management on protection methods for project records, evaluating tools, preparing usage statistics, and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-4 years of experience, with proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of database management, filing, and archiving. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational and time-management abilities, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience in document control or related field
- Proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong knowledge of database management, filing, and archiving systems
- Familiarity with digital document management tools
- Basic understanding of project management principles
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
