Job Summary
Maintain and manage project documentation in accordance with client and regulatory standards while tracking, logging, distributing, and filing all incoming and outgoing documents. Ensure strict version control and document accuracy across all project records by managing document control systems and maintaining organized digital and physical filing structures. Support project teams with document retrieval, reporting, and audit preparation, and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely document flow. Monitor deadlines and ensure all documentation aligns with project schedules and compliance requirements. Requires 2+ years of document control experience within construction, engineering, utilities, or public works, including hands-on proficiency with systems like Procore, Aconex, SharePoint, and Bluebeam. Full-time contract and contract-to-hire positions available in Los Angeles at $23-$30/hr based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of document control experience within construction, engineering, utilities, or public works
- Hands-on experience with document management systems such as Procore, Aconex, SharePoint, Bluebeam, or similar
- Strong understanding of document lifecycle, version control, and audit compliance
- Experience managing RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project records
- High level of attention to detail and organizational accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting municipal or government-funded projects
- Familiarity with public works compliance standards and documentation requirements
