Document Control Specialist

Job Summary
Maintain and manage the update, review, release, and storage of all controlled documents, including policies, SOPs, forms, and validations, using MasterControl. Ensure all controlled copies remain current, perform document control audits, and route test packet reviews in accordance with corporate standards. Validate that all documentation is available in MasterControl, audit Millennium templates and Discern rules annually, and ensure proper naming and formatting. Fill out PathNet Test Requisitions and coordinate changes as appropriate. Work independently to maintain regulatory standards while participating in continuing education and staff meetings. Supports the Chemistry Division within Technical Ops Doc Control.
Required Qualifications
- Communicate: Frequently and effectively communicate with others.
- Works independently to accomplish all job duties.
- Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
- Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
- Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
